KASON-CBT31 carbon black content tester

What does the KASON-CBT31 measure?

Carbon black content in polyethylene, polypropylene and polybutylene. The value comes from weight analysis after the sample is decomposed at high temperature under nitrogen protection.

Which test standards does it follow?

GB/T 2951.41-2008 for insulation and sheath materials of cables and optical cables, GB/T 3515-2005 for rubber by the pyrolysis method, and GB/T 13021-1991 for polyethylene pipes and fittings. GB/T 13663.2-2018, ISO 6964, IEC 60811-4-1 and YD/T 837.3-1996 are also referenced.

How many samples can be tested at once?

Four groups. An extra-long heating unit gives a 260 mm heating zone inside a Ø45 × 350 mm furnace, and the open-cover structure cools quickly between runs.

What is the temperature performance?

Room temperature to 1000 °C under PID control, with 0.1 °C sensitivity and high furnace uniformity. Multi-segment heating programs and two-way gas switching are set on a 7-inch touch screen.

How is the result calculated?

Software calculates carbon black content and ash content in one click, so no manual weighing arithmetic is needed. Power is 600 W at AC 220 V.
